Sri Krishna Balarama, the presiding Deities of ISKCON Mysore will be bedecked as ‘Sri Rama Lakshmana’ in a special decoration for the occasion.
Renowned dancer Vidu. Mithra Naveen along with her troupe from Nadavidyalaya (R) Academy of Dance & Music would be performing ‘Dharma Vijayam,’ a dance drama, followed by Their Lordships having a majestic ride on a Gaja Vahana within the temple premises accompanied by devotees performing ‘Sankirtana,’ chanting of holy names of God.
Special attraction of the festival is the burning of 50 ft. high effigies of Ravana and Kumbhakarana to mark the victory of Truth over Evil. Thousands of devotees throng to watch this spectacular event accompanying colourful fireworks.
